The success of SAS is dependent upon the collective effort of its members. Without members stepping up to the challenge of leadership positions, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish as much as we have. Not only would you be helping the organization, but you will be earning valuable experience that can build your resume.
In order to apply for Director or Committee positions, please email the respective executive officer your resume and a brief paragraph describing why you want the position and what makes you the best candidate.
Director Positions:
- Executive Director
- Duties: Represent SAS at College of Business Council meetings. Will coordinate the Mock Interview and Mentorship Programs and assist with planning and implementing improvements.

- Duties: Will assist in updating and maintaining the SAS website and social media platforms, graphic design, creating content for social media, and drafting/editing newsletters.

- Duties: Will assist with updating weekly attendance and member points, checking membership cards, and distributing supplies to members.

- Duties: Will assist with keeping track of deposits and transactions and discussing budget adjustments.

- Director of Internal Audit
- Duties: Will assist with weekly Meeting Minutes and leading the Internal Audit Committee through the Internal Audit.

- Duties: Will assist in planning and organizing events, collecting event attendance, and making reservations as needed.

- Duties: Will assist in communicating with professionals and leading and coordinating the Professional Development Committee.

Committee Positions:
- Meet the Firms Committee (Fall Only)
- Duties: Must be available before and/or during Meet the Firms. Organize and set up Meet the Firms, and have a flexible schedule.

- Mock Interview Committee
- Duties: Will interview potential interviewees, give them feedback, and help the Executive Vice President improve the Mock Interview Program.

- Internal Audit Committee
- Duties: Will audit the internal procedures of SAS and create a report to aid in the transition from one administration to the next. Internal Audit Committee meetings will be based on committee member’s availability. To apply, please also send in your availability to hold IAC meetings.

- Professional Development Committee
- Duties: Draft engagement emails with professionals and plan meetings. This is a great opportunity for you to gain networking skills by interacting with professionals and members.

- Peer Mentor Committee
- Duties: Be a mentor to fellow members! Use your experience and knowledge to help guide the mentee and answer any questions they may have. This is a great way for members to meet new people and make connections in and out of the classroom!

- Foster relationships between the organization, campus, and the community

- Duties:
- Prepares weekly meeting minutes and PowerPoint slides
- Records and updates cash flows
- Handles cash/check transactions and receipts
