Membership Requirements
- Open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students!
- Pre-major business students also welcome!
- Open to all Accounting, Finance, MIS, and any other Business major
- Payment of membership dues required to become a full member
- Must fill out the SAS Spring 2026 Interest Form
- Any factor including GPA, amount of accounting classes taken, etc. is not a disqualifying factor to membership. Everyone is allowed to join!
Membership Dues
Membership dues are required to be a full member.
- $50 for one semester of full SAS membership
- Payment is not required to attend the first few meetings, come and decide if SAS is right for you for free!

How can you pay your membership dues?
You can either pay in-person to any SAS Officer at any one of our meetings via cash or check only, or you can pay online using Aztec Banking. Here’s a simple guide on how to pay your student dues online:
- Go to https://as.sdsu.edu/stu-org-funding/banking/
- Click on “Click here to pay your student organization dues” under the Electronic Deposits section.
- Dues for the Fall 2025 semester are $50, but if you would like to pay dues for both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, dues are $95.

Student Accounting Society T-shirts and Fundraising
The price for an SAS T-shirt is $15.00, please pay in cash to any one of our officers at one of our meetings and let one of them know your shirt size. The VP of Finance (sasfinance.sdsu@gmail.com) will reach out to you when the shirt is ready for pick-up.
