How to Become an Active Member
To achieve active status in the Student Accounting Society, members must pay their semester dues, and earn at least 10 points that satisfy each of the following point categories:
- Attend meetings or social events (1pt. each)
- Attend/Participate in Fundraising Activity (1pt. each) – View fundraising tab of SAS website
- Attend Professional Activity outside of meetings (1 pt. each)
- Attend Officer elections (Mandatory 1pt.)
Additional Points:
- *Optional – Become a Director or Committee Member (2 points per active position)
- *Optional – Turn on notifications for SAS Instagram (2 points)
